He shot maybe 30 rounds after getting it without issues but wasnt going for groupings so accuracy is still in question. Ill post some pictures when I get a chance but it might not be until tonight. If any of you have some links you can send or personal experience you can share that would be great. Henry is considered better quality ( I have one and have no issues with it other than not trusting the butt stock to be waterproof as claimed by some) and I see Henry AR7s listed new at 230 or so shipped Assuming near pristine condition, Id list it on Armslist at 200 but expect to let it go for 150 unless he finds a sucker. Ill have to put some rounds through it to give it a test run. Not sure how well it will clean up but Ill find out when I get home tomorrow. So take the price of that and a grain of salt and figure out what youd pay for one that isnt as good. The receiver is aluminum and I can definitely feel mine cycle more poorly than it did when it was brand new. He let me take it with me so I can put some rounds through it. When he first mentioned it I was really hoping it was a Henry and was a little disappointed when he brought it out. ![]() If you do get one, be aware that there is a limited number of rounds youll be able to fire from it. I obviously cant give you an exact number, but Id guess its in the low thousands.
